Out of the Aether

Hey everyone! One of our goals this year and going forward is to invest a bit more time and energy into the video side of The Aether. We’ve already mentioned on the show that we’re starting to stream more regularly on Twitch, but another piece of the puzzle has always been finding ways to make what works about Into the Aether also work on YouTube. It’s something we’ve been mulling over for a long time.

With that, we’re so stoked to announce Out of the Aether! It’s a new weekly show where Stephen and Brendon (and maybe some special guests!) dip into short, game-related conversations that exist alongside the core podcast. Think of it as an extra segment of the show, every Friday!

While similar on the surface to our Patreon exclusive show Any%, OOTA will not have a hard time limit — episodes will have a range of runtimes and go as long as the conversation. Our first edition is out today, and it’s all about how Nintendo could ever top the success of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
